Louis is a player with exceptional vision on the field and knowledge of the game. He combines this vision and knowledge with skills to create a complete package. He brings high energy to anything does and his work ethic his intense. Louis’ ability to hold the ball up as a center forward is very useful to any team looking to build up their attack through the center forward. Louis has good upper body strength and a good low center of gravity. He can hold defenders off the ball while an attack builds but can also score and constantly is checking over his shoulders. He has a strong and accurate shot from out side of the box. As for dribbling he is comfortable with the ball on both feet and is good in tight spaces, making good use of moves to beat defenders. His vision allows him to spread the field and develop opportunities.
Louis is a student of the sport. When he is not playing he volunteers with the local AYSO as an assistant coach and referee. He enjoys passing on what he knows to others and enjoys watching players grow around him. During this past summer Louis and organized a “sports camp” for neighborhood kids whose summers where changed due to the COVID outbreak.
Louis is a solid student who as a junior was accepted into an elite private school where he can further develop academically and simultaneously allow him to continue playing the sport he loves in high school as well as with his club team.
Louis began playing in local town soccer. He quickly moved to travel, then to premier and now plays in the Eastern Development Program with his club. He has also been selected as one of only four juniors to play for his varsity team at King School. He is the lynchpin to his club team in that the team has been built around him.
